Christina Haddad Gonzalez, MSW, LICSW is the Director of Student Support Services at Richfield Public Schools. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and School Administrator, she has provided play therapy, individual, and family therapy to families as well as supervise and lead programming supporting students and families. In non directive child centered play therapy, the foundation belief that "children have within them the internet capacity to heal," Christina utilizes this as a foundation for her work and leadership across ages, identities, and presentations.
About the sessions: During the interactive & engaging sessions, school social workers will be able to identify, differentiate, and implement supervisory skills related to the unique provision of supervision in. a school/district setting. Participants will develop self-awareness and supervisory skills, such as reflective listening and maintaining race and trauma-informed boundaries, to support staff, student, and family-centered practices. Participants will reflect on personal supervisory experiences to improve decision-making, address performance issues, and refine one's own supervisory style. When: Wednesday January 15th, 2025 & Wednesday February 12th, 2025, with both sessions being 4-7pm and held virtually. You must attend both sessions for the full time to receive CEU's. The Zoom Link will be sent to participants closer to training dates. Cost: $75 for MSSWA Members (includes both sessions) or $150 for Non-MSSWA Members (includes both sessions)
