MSSWA Region 1 Virtual Spring Meeting
Who: Nicki Keen Dawolo, School Social Worker from Richfield Public Schools What: Practical SEL/Behavior Interventions for School Social Workers (1 CEU) When: Virtual Meeting, Thursday, April 25th from 9 am-10 am (link will be sent the day before the meeting) Cost: Free for MSSWA Region 1 Members. $20 for Non-MSSWA Region 1 Members (will be billed at a later date). Register: Here Description: As a school social worker we know time is a precious resource and that groups are a way to maximize time. We also know that it takes time to get those groups ready to even think about facilitating. This workshop will provide you with practical tools, like checklists and templates, to get a Tier 2 group up and running. We will be using an evidence based intervention as a model,CICO (Check in Check out ). When you leave our time together you will have multiple tools to implement CICO at your school. Please register by Wednesday, April 24th. We will be giving away 2 door prizes!
