MSSWA is inviting you to MSSWA's Legislative Townhall Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 6:30-7:30. The 2024 Legislative Session begins Monday, February 12^th and MSSWA felt it is essential to inform MN School Social Workers of a variety of Legislative Initiatives as well as seek feedback from all of you.

Learning Objectives:

Raise awareness of Legislative initiatives impacting the profession of social work.
Understand that advocacy is embedded in our Code of Ethics and falls along a continuum of micro, mezzo and macro practice.
Develop an action plan to elevate the social work profession and to educate legislators about the vital role of school social workers in addressing the mental health needs of ALL Minnesota students.

Cost: Join us for this free TownHall for MSSWA members and $15.00 for nonmembers and earn 1 CE.
