MSSWA Region 2B Virtual Meeting
Outfront MN Training "What does it mean to be LGBTQ+? How does someone’s sexual orientation and/or gender identity impact their life experiences and needs? This training will provide you with knowledge to work with LGBTQ+ students in a manner that is welcoming, inclusive, and affirming. We will start by familiarizing ourselves with LGBTQ+ identities and language, then tackle the current cultural and political landscape for LGBTQ+ people, and end with a discussion of best practices when working with LGBTQ+ students."
TIME: From 12:00 pm-3:00 pm
12:00-1:30 will be a Zoom webinar by Outfront MN. The remaining time will be an opportunity for attendees to network with each other, share resources, etc. A separate zoom invite will be sent for this portion.
Up to 3 CEU's will be emailed to those who register and attend (virtually)!
LOCATION: Virtual via Zoom platform. Outfront will present a webinar using Zoom platform. A separate zoom link will be sent for the second half of the meeting.
