As school social workers, it is hard enough to keep the oxygen on ourselves, and with COVID- 19, it has added more stress than we could have ever imagined both personally and professionally.  Take a break with Mary Beth who will share some needed time for you to work on your own self care and build up your resiliency by examining aspects of mind, body, and spirit. Mary Beth will focus on building blocks of self care and resiliency from a Therapeutic as well as a Wellness perspective. 

Goal & Learning Objective 1: Provide participants additional resources to improve self care and well being though sleep, nutrition, exercise, and spirituality

Goal & Learning Objective 2: Provide participants with a daily practice of Joyful and Kind Attention by reviewing Attention and Interpretation Therapy

Goal & Learning Objective 3: Provide participants with a meditation experience and share different types of meditations they could use for themselves and their practice.


Mary Beth Patterson, MSW, LCSW, is a current Licensed Clinical  Social Worker in Wisconsin and a former Registered Dietitian of 20 years.  As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Mary Beth has worked in a variety areas of Crisis Management, School Social Work, and presently in private practice as a Mental Health Therapist.  Mary Beth also has extensive knowledge in the areas of Nutrition, Mindfulness, and Well Being.
